Municipal Broadband access

Municipal broadband access is accomplished with ZIGWIRE MESH deployment which utilizes light pole or utility pole structures. The system has numerous advantages over mesh solutions because of increased frequency re-use and increased channel flexibility. The system is also capable of utilizing the 4.9GHz public safety band and the new 5.5GHz band. This system does not require customer CPE installations as laptops and other WiFi devices can access the network directly. The ZIGWIRE MESH system is deployed at a density of approximately 50 repeaters per square mile.

Fixed outdoor Broadband access

ISP's losing market share to competing broadband services need a solution now. Our ZIGWIRE system is a turn-key solution that can be deployed from start to finish in a matter of weeks. This solution utilizes a micro-cell technology that requires CPE's installed at the customer premise. A typical customer installation takes between 1 and 1.5 hours.

Surveillance

This technology can be utilized for video surveillance for traffic, public safety and high-crime areas. The technology is currently being utilized by law enforcement to rapidly set-up surveillance stations. Our dome cameras have 780 lines of resolution and 25X optical zoom and is the required resolution for facial recognition software

Meter reading

City and Power municipalities can utilize our different architectures for electric and gas meter reading, as well as parking meters and well sites, all by utilizing any 802.11 compatible CPE device.

Zigwire has developed cost effective High-Speed Internet access for hotel, resort and  condo owners. With added concern for internet security Hotels to have optional hard line Ethernet connections in each room by 2010 under the AAA agency this will be the  fastest and most cost advantaged method .Along with our management and interface to property management systems will allow hotels added revenue and/or security.
